Surely it would be easier anyway to save all images in folders such as family/holiday/parties etc. Remember that with Windows 7 you can choose one image to be your desktop background or you can display a slide show of pictures. If you mean an image that you've found on the net that you want to save and use as your desktop background the simply create a new folder called, for example, "Desktop Backgrounds", name each picture as something you'll remember then follow the usual method for your operating system to set it as you desktop background By deleting pictures from that folder or adding pictures to it, you can change the pictures the screensaver uses. I would like to create a folder to use for screensaver which just has my favourites in! You can use the control panel to tell it a different folder to use. Im going to use python to randomly select one of these folders. Obviously Valve isn't still watching this nearly-five-year-old post, but on the off-chance you're still subscribed to it.you should be able to fudge this with a Powershell script that enumerates all your screenshot directories, then makes symlinks (I'm from UNIX-land, not sure what the MS Windows equivalent term is) in a single directory which you could then add to your OS screensaver. Maybe Valve could implement some sort of optional feature for Snooze mode where it starts a sreensaver slide show using all of your Steam screenshots.
